Ongoing Industrial Action at Le Havre
Unions representing port workers at the Port of Le Havre have announced a series of ongoing work stoppages to protest working conditions and pension reform.
In a communication to members, union officials called on them to stop work for 4 hours on 15 separate dates commencing beginning last week and ending on June 28, 2024. The Port of Le Havre is a major gateway for imports and exports to the Paris region and it is unclear how much disruption the work stoppages will cause to port operations.
Neer Service will continue to update partners in the event that the industrial action results in delays to shipments.
