Exhibitions and fairs

Fairs and exhibitions are for most companies not a daily routine. Neer Service has the experience with clearing and packing of exhibition locations and fairs at home and abroad. Of course, these transports are also carried out with air-suspended removal vans.

High-tech

When transporting high-tech services, air suspended trucks with climate control (between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius) are required. This means that the transport of vulnerable high-tech trucks does not pose any problems. Our vehicles are naturally equipped with all safety measures. Transport is arranged by personnel who have special training for this type of transport. If necessary, individual instructions can be given before, during and after transport. Machine movement

In office buildings there are often large desks, cupboards and ICT equipment. Our ICT mover specialist advises you on the approach to a move and assists you during the move. Disconnecting data and telecommunications equipment and making accessories ready for removal are a standard. We place and connect the equipment to the new workplace.  If necessary, we take care of testing the equipment and reporting any kind of malfunctions. Aftercare with the help of a service desk after the move is also possible.

Our Handyman is a professional support for your facility organization, he has both an executive and signalling task and advises and works together with your facility service in managing your building(s).  

De Handyman assists in optimising and maintaining your property so that its image is maintained. He solves the small maintenance work, which often takes too long, in the short term. It can also be used for making control rounds and reports that give you a good insight and enable you to act adequately.

We help you to pack the sturdy moving boxes in a respectable manner, but also to unpack them, if desired.

Many people choose to pack the moving boxes themselves. Packing consists of filling the moving boxes with all the loose items that are present in the cabinets, closets and the house. Packing takes a lot of time, meaning you will have to live between the moving boxes for some days and sometimes even weeks in advance. With our experienced movers the packing work can often be done within a day. Good packing requires insight, speed and quality. We can take care of this for you.

International removal

Smaller items such as crockery, glassware, books, paintings, lamps and hanging clothes is suggested to be best packed by our professionals. Your valuables are packed with extra attention. This way, your belongings can be loaded with a safe feeling into the removal van or sea container. We also transport your hanging clothes with special, lockable cloakroom boxes. This way the clothing is protected against dirt and weather influences.

When moving internationally to Canada and the United States, it is required to have your household belongings packed by Neer Service. When moving to other international destinations this is not mandatory, however we always recommend it! If we pack everything, your entire household belongings are insured. When you pack yourself, these goods you have packed are not insured.

You can choose for the complete packing service of Neer Service but you can also only let us pack the fragile goods.

During a personal visit, our appraiser can advise you whether certain goods need to be specially packed.

A 13th Century French castle that has sat empty since the 1930s is about to enjoy a renaissance thanks to a crowd-funding campaign which has raised enough money to buy and restore the historic building.
The castle located in Ebaupinay, an hour from Nantes in Western France, was saved by donations of €50 from over 28,000 people in 125 countries. Each contributor automatically becomes a shareholder in the castle and owns a piece of the castle!

This is the second campaign of this kind; the first in 2017 raised €1.617.000 to buy and restore Chateau de la Mothe Chadeniers, in the same region of France. The Chateau, which had been abandoned for 85 years, hosted thousands of visitors in the first few weeks of opening.

Choose the Right Port of Entry

When handling either LCL and FCL shipments to Paris, please do not be tempted to use Paris as Port of Entry. Although a “through-bill of lading” to Paris may seem attractive, the trucking companies used by shipping lines are not reliable, often leading to delays. It is much better to use Le Havre as the Port of Entry and leave the trucking to us.

For air shipment, Paris CDG airport represents the most favorable entry point.

There is nothing more frustrating for a customer who cannot communicate effectively with the packing crew on the day of a move. At Neer Service we are committed to placing an English speaking crew on every move we carry out. We think it is only right that English speaking customers should be able to speak to packers in their native language.

As we plan for the Spring and Summer, our preparations also includes English language lessons for our packers and drivers. France has one of the lowest English-speaking populations in Europe and the ongoing education continues to improve English-speaking skills. Everything from introducing yourself to the customer to everyday household goods items and questions during the move.
